ANALYSIS AND REPORTING

Archaeological Services WYAS has a major ongoing programme of post-excavation analysis and publishes the results of its work both in-house and in local and national journals. We undertake not only the analysis of materials from our own sites but work on materials from sites excavated by other units and consultants. We have laboratory facilities that fully support the work of our specialists and maintain reference collections to aid them in their work.

• Production of archive for the stratigraphic record

• Production of research designs
• Archive transfer to museum

Our post-excavation programmes are, like our excavations, targeted and preceded by full, costed project designs which again are designed to be as cost effective as possible and to meet the requirements of the regulatory bodies.
