Archaeological Services WYAS offers a nationwide geophysical prospection service, providing reliable and rapid results using the latest equipment and software. We have a dedicated geophysics team, with surveyors experienced both nationally and internationally. Projects of all sizes are undertaken, ranging from building proposals of less than one hectare to major road and pipeline schemes, from landscape studies to research projects on Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

We are able to offer the following:

• Earth resistance survey, with variable probe separations and configurations (Geoscan Research RM15 resistance meter)
• Magnetometer survey, rapid scanning and detailed survey (Geoscan Research FM36 fluxgate gradiometer)
• Magnetic susceptibility survey, field and laboratory based (Bartington MS2 susceptibility system)
• Consultancy in all forms of geophysical survey
